This organization partners with hospitals, physicians, and healthcare systems to deliver high-quality, cost-effective diagnostic imaging services through outpatient imaging centers and teleradiology services.

We are looking for a patient-focused, outgoing CT Technologist who can help patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout the imaging process.

Position Overview
Under the direction of the Site Manager, the CT Technologist performs a variety of clinical and technical duties including patient care, imaging procedures, and quality assurance activities. Technologists typically perform duties independently while following established company procedures and clinical protocols.
This role requires compliance with Florida Department of Health credentialing regulations and adherence to industry standards for CT imaging practices.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging process
- Educate patients and family members about CT procedures
- Assist patients with positioning, transfers, and mobility using proper body mechanics
- Ensure services are appropriate for the patientβs age and medical condition
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Imaging & Technical Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images that meet accreditation standards
- Properly identify patient and exam information on all imaging records
- Adjust scan parameters to ensure optimal image quality for all patient types
- Perform quality assurance testing on imaging equipment
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company policies related to radiation safety and OSHA regulations
- Complete incident reporting when necessary
- Maintain a safe imaging environment for patients, staff, and visitors
Customer Service
- Maintain a professional and patient-friendly environment
- Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times
- Address patient concerns and report complaints to the Site Manager
- Encourage patient satisfaction feedback and survey participation
Professional Development
- Maintain active ARRT certification and continuing education requirements
- Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Provide updated licensure documentation as required
Qualifications
Education & Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist required
- ARRT CT Registry preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Skills & Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift equipment up to 30 pounds
- Ability to assist with patient transfers using proper body mechanics
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare staff
