The Slot services Specialist will also provide cashiering and slot machine services and work to ensure full compliance with casino policies, internal controls and Louisiana State Gaming Commission regulations.Deliver outstanding guest service Comply with Slot department and property policies, procedures, and internal controlsMust maintain high level of confidentialitySafeguards assets of the companyObserves EGD play, recognizes and promotes guest developmentProcess jackpots and signs slot payout formsAssure that the slot machines are operating properly and that all jackpot payoffs are executed in a timely manner according to company policyVerifies and reconciles banks at shift changeAttends to minor machine tilts/repairsEnsures compliance with federal currency transaction reporting regulationsSupport and assist other Slot Service Specialists and Slot Supervisors on the Casino FloorRespond to change lights on slot machines and assist customers needing change or other assistanceImpress TITO paper and conduct basic preventive maintenance of slot machinesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Excellent communication and guest service skills for both internal and external guestsAbility to count money and make changeBasic computer, math, reading, and writing skillsGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plusAlways conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive and professional imageAbility to establish rapport with other team members throughout the casinoMaintain a positive attitude at all timesBe able to work in a fast paced 24/7 environment Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidaysThis is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on dutyAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Boyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
