Porters will pick up trash sweep mop vacuum or use industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors clean and stock bathrooms.EXPECTATIONS FOR SATISFACTORY JOB PERFORMANCE Completes assigned tasks within required time limit/or within companys expectations as directed by customer. Performs cleanings tasks based on defined scope of work and customer requests. These tasks could include the following:o Empty wastebaskets and replace liner as neededo dust/clean tops of office furniture desks and tableso vacuum all carpetingo spot clean soiled areas as neededo clean and sanitize toilets basins and urinalso Clean counters mirrors and fixtureso Sweep and damp mop floor with disinfectanto Spot clean walls partitions and doorso Refill all restroom dispensers as neededo Wipe/clean all table tops and chairso Wipe/clean vending machines and applianceso Clean sink and damp mop tile floorso Sweep and spot mop tile floors Follows all company policies and procedures Works safely and within guidelines Wears uniform at required worksites Uses floor machines forvacuuming and carpet cleaning within proper operating guidelines Performs repetitive work according to set procedures and pace Attends periodic training and safety meetings when requiredEDUCATION AND CERTIFICAtionsHigh school diploma or equivalent plus 13 years of hands on experience in a similar or related role(s).additional skills: required & preferredReQUIRED SKILLS: Interpersonal Skills: Be friendly and pleasant Mechanical Skills: understand how to work industrial equipment like floor buffers industrial floor washers and fix small building problems like leaky faucets or faulty light switches Must maintain a neat appearance.
