Part-timeDescriptionThe custodian will clean and disinfect the building and common areas maintaining cleanliness for employees and visitors. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of cleaning products as well as kitchen supplies.RequirementsQualifications:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience in a Janitorial roll preferred but not required.Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents; write employee communication pieces and routine business correspondence; speak effectively before a group of peers and ability to communicate with a broad range of audiences (senior management level to front-line production employees).Mathematical skills: Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole number common fractions and decimals.Reasoning ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.Other skills and abilities:Initiate and maintain good organization of records and information. Empty trash from office breakrooms and bathrooms. Recycle as appropriate.2. Clean and disinfect bathrooms.3. Stock bathroom and breakroom supplies4. Vacuum carpeted areas bi-weekly or as needed.5.
