Custodian Trainer at ABM

DescriptionJob Summary Details:The Lead Cleaner & Custodian Trainer is responsible for giving direction training motivation and guidance to a team of cleaners.Benefit Information:ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. For information about ABMs benefits visitABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older No experience required and on the job training provided No high school diploma GED or college degree requiredPreferred Qualifications: Customer service experience One (1) year of similar work experienceResponsibilities: Provide leadership and direction to team members Relay communication between team members client customers and management Report performance issues to the Supervisor Assist with the training of cleaning team Coordinate work assignments Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building Manage security of keys and access cards for the property Report work orders for maintenance Makes sure premises are secured at all times Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building Check supplies equipment and chemicals weekly Complete order forms completely and accurately Coordinate equipment usage and inventoriesTraining & Development:Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing custodial staff.Train employees on proper cleaning techniques chemical safety and equipment operation.Maintain training records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Cleaning & Maintenance:Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks as needed including floors restrooms and common areas.Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness and address deficiencies promptly.Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
