JOB DESCRIPTION

Custody Operations Specialist

Join our team as a Custody Operations Specialist and play a vital role in managing and organizing loan files within the vault. This position involves ensuring files are correctly placed, conducting quality control, and researching misplaced files using computer systems. You will be actively engaged in physical tasks, spending 80% of your time on your feet, walking and climbing step stools as needed. The work schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various functions in the vault, including pulling and filing loan documents.
  • Verify loan files are filed in correct locations and conduct quality control.
  • Search for missing files on shelves and research using computer systems if necessary.
  • Utilize clues such as last seen locations and neighboring files to locate misplaced files.
  • Engage in physical activity by walking and climbing step stools throughout the day.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in document custody and vault management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications to find information.
  • Capability to multitask and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on feet all day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Production-based experience.
  • Ability to navigate various computer databases effectively.

Work Environment

You will be working in a quiet but expansive vault environment, akin to an office warehouse filled with files. Business casual attire is required, and comfortable shoes, including tennis shoes, are recommended. Files are organized by customer and loan number, and you will be on your feet most of the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
