Primarily responsible for the assignment of work to non-exempt personnel as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional areaEssential FunctionsPayroll/BillingComplies with all Safety Maintenance and Compliance. DOT log review preparation and submission. Conducts Safety Training/Orientations. First point of contact for collisions and injuries. Updates/Maintains STAR. Conducts safety meetings in conjunction with other managementHandles front line customer requests; identifies and elevates any customer issues if needed. Acts as a liaison between hourly workers and management. Elevates any employee relations issues as appropriate. Quality Assurance. Dispatch/Routing. Driver communications (e.g. location updates settlement reports weekly paycheck stubs).
