Job Title: Customer Service RepresentativeLocation: Itasca, IL - onsiteWork Hours: 8:30am-5:30pmClassification: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting the Inside Sales process by sourcing industrial parts, preparing quotations, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.This is a 100% desk-based clerical role, ideal for someone who enjoys detailed coordination and customer communication and is eager to learn and grow within a B2B client-facing environment. The company offers opportunities for career growth within the Inside Sales team, so they are seeking someone who is motivated to learn quickly and develop into a key contributor in the organization. Responsibilities:Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails and internal communicationsIdentify customer requirements for parts and services, and source items according to specificationsCoordinate with vendors to confirm pricing, lead times, export regulations, and product detailsPrepare and issue price quotations based on vendor information and customer inquiriesReview purchase history and records to adjust pricing or terms in accordance with company policiesProcess and verify customer orders, collaborating with internal departments to ensure accurate fulfillmentAddress and resolve issues such as mis-shipments, product defects, or customer complaintsMonitor delivery timelines and follow up with vendors and logistics to provide customers with updatesMaintain spreadsheets and records to ensure accurate tracking of orders and customer dataFollow up on overdue invoices and coordinate with the accounting teamSupport shipping, inventory, and logistics activities as neededProvide regular status updates and reports to managementQualifications:Prior clerical or administrative experience highly preferred.Experience in B2B customer service or sales support is a big plus.
