This position plays a vital role in supporting our customers and ensuring smooth operations. Youll handle service requests billing inquiries and account updates while working closely with both customers and internal teams to deliver safe cost-effective and environmentally sound solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming customer calls and process orders for new service discontinuance or changes in serviceAccept customer payments research billing inquiries and update account information accuratelyInteract with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements and resolve complaintsCollaborate with other departments to resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfactionDemonstrate proficiency in proprietary operational systems and maintain accurate recordsPrepare contract forms calculate service charges collect deposits and issue discontinuance ordersResearch missed pickups and dispatch them to drivers for resolutionQualifications12 years of customer service experience in a high call-volume environmentProficiency with MS Word Excel and email systems preferredStrong typing and 10-key skills requiredExcellent organizational and communication abilitiesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to gather data compile information and prepare reportsWaste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
