Job Title: Temporary Project & Operations Support Associate Location: Buffalo, NY Work Setup Type: Hybrid - Remote (Mon & Fri) / Office (Tue-Thu) Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: 12-month contract Interview: Virtual Pay: $24.00 per hour This position is a temporary 12-month assignment designed to support projects, process improvement initiatives, and operational priorities during a defined business need or coverage period. The candidate will need to quickly adapt, contribute immediately, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support project execution and process improvement initiatives impacting multiple customers, teams, and business workflows. Monitor operational and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and distribute regular reports, status updates, and summaries to support planning, decision-making, and execution. Quickly learn internal processes, systems, and business requirements to provide effective support across projects and operational priorities. Identify process gaps or operational challenges, escalate issues as appropriate, and implement practical solutions in a timely manner. Maintain accurate documentation, records, and project updates using Microsoft Office and applicable business systems, including SAP when relevant. Contribute to continuity of operations by providing responsive, organized, and solutions-oriented support throughout the assignment. Required Skills & Experience 2+ years of experience in project coordination, process improvement, operations support, customer service, or another related business support role. Ability to ramp up quickly, learn new processes, and adapt to changing priorities in a temporary or contract role. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions. Strong problem-solving, issue-resolution, and critical-thinking abilities. Experience monitoring performance metrics, analyzing trends, and preparing reports to support business decisions. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and other internal partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems, SAP, or similar ERP platforms preferred. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, self-directed, and able to contribute effectively with minimal supervision while supporting team goals. Desired Skills Experience with hybrid work schedules and adaptability to changing environments. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities efficiently. Strong analytical and reporting skills to support continuous process improvement initiatives.
