Job Description
Role Responsibilities:Set up standard rush forecast and promotional orders through direct customer interactionProvide customers with shipment tracking updates estimated delivery times and support for accounting inquiries related to credits or debitsInvestigate and communicate resolutions for shipment errorsUnderstand production schedules and transportation constraints to troubleshoot order issues related to product availabilityCreate export shipping documents through external systems for Cold Storage shipmentsReview minimum order quantities and item sales history to identify and promote additional sales opportunitiesReceive and process daily customer orders via phone (including preâorders) fax email web EDI and load requests with accuracy and timelinessMaintain order cutâoff timing in coordination with business unitsDevelop strong knowledge of company products programs and systems used to manage customer accountsPerform additional duties or special projects as assigned by managementQualifications and Experience:High School Diploma or GED required5 years of customer service experience in a sharedâservices environment or customer service center preferredGeneral understanding of export processes is a plusProfessional caring and enthusiastic communication style when interacting with customers and colleaguesStrong phone etiquette problemâsolving abilities and customer service skillsSkilled in deâescalation and resolving issues for dissatisfied customersExperience supporting multiple locations product lines and customer groupsespecially in a startâup or rapidly growing environmentAbility to organize prioritize and perform at a high level in a fastâpaced settingExcellent listening verbal and written communication skills including grammar spelling and proofreadingProficient with Microsoft Officeespecially Exceland comfortable with 10âkey and basic mathDemonstrated ability to workindependently and collaborativelyin dynamic environments.EOE Vet/DisabilityMorning Glory is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
