Core Responsibilities: Educational and Training SupportDevelop and deliver training materials on customs entry processes procedures and regulatory requirements in collaboration with Flexport Customs ComplianceCreate and maintain educational resources including process guides work instructions videos system tutorials and/or in-person trainingsConduct onboarding sessions for new team members on customs brokerage fundamentals as a support for Associate Managers and ManagersSupport continuous learning initiatives and stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practicesFacilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions across operational teams as recommended by Customs Compliance and Head of CustomsCollaborate with operations teams to identify process improvement opportunitiesHelp resolve entry-related issues and support problem-solving effortsProject: Review all training materials and operational guidance reflect current regulatory requirements in combination with Customs ComplianceSupport compliant use of internal systems and processesNOTE: Customs Compliance will maintain responsibility for broker education as required by 19 CFR 111Required Qualifications2 years of experience in customs brokerage international trade or related field(External Candidates) Strong understanding of customs systems ability to learn quickly and operationalize Flexports systems into clear instructionsStrong understanding of customs entry processes and proceduresKnowledge of customs regulations tariff classifications and trade compliance requirementsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentWillingness to travel as needed for in-person trainingsPreferred QualificationsLicensed Customs Broker or progress toward licensingExperience in training education or knowledge management rolesUnderstanding of trade agreements and preferential duty programsSkills and CompetenciesAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesOrganizational perspective to set and define training rolesAdaptability to changing regulations and requirementsTime management and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projectsProfessional written and verbal communicationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems#LI-onsiteCommitment to Equal OpportunityAt Flexport our ability to fulfill our mission of making global commerce easy and accessible relies on having a diverse dedicated and engaged workforce.
