Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in choreography, be able to create fun and engaging routines for beginner-level students, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment as the program continues to grow and progressProven experience as a dance instructor, with the ability to teach students of all ages and skill levelsStrong choreography skills with the ability to create routines that are both accessible and engagingKnowledge and experience in a variety of dance styles and techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching and mentoring childrenWorking Conditions: This is a part-time position that requires significant physical activity, including standing, walking, moving, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, and handling equipment as neededRequirements:This is a part-time position ideal for someone who loves working with children of all ages and can motivate, inspire, and nurture young dancers to build confidence and develop their skillsDevelop and teach original dance routines tailored to beginner-level studentsProvide instruction in various dance styles, including ballet, modern, and contemporaryEncourage student participation, creativity, and confidence in a supportive classroom environmentAdapt lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners and address individual learning needsPrepare students for performances or showcases to highlight their progress and talent
