Below is an overview of the project as well as information on our company and our benefits.THE PROGRAMThe DarkStar Groups team provides Analytic Software Development Data Engineering and Cloud Migration services as well as interagency communication and data-sharing solutions as part of an enterprise program that spans two major Intelligence Community customers. This project regularly has new openings for Software Engineers Cloud Infrastructure Experts DevOps Engineers Data Engineers SharePoint Developers and Administrators ServiceNow Developers and various other types of IT professionals.Work on this program takes place in Herndon McLean and Bethesda (we cannot support remote work) and requires a TS/SCI Polygraph clearance (acceptable to this customer).The RoleAre you a curious intrinsically motivated person looking to work in an entrepreneurial IC office If so we are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-cloud environments machine learning and scalable data solutions with the ability to design and implement cutting-edge analytics capabilities.Responsibilities:Design and implement data science frameworks across multi-cloud environmentsDevelop machine learning models for data analysis and automation including building RAG models for AWS BedrockAutomate analytic solutions and build scalable analytics capabilitiesCollaborate with the Mission team to gather requirements across various teamsAssess and implement new technologies and tools to enhance data capabilitiesSupport data webforms (SQL databases) and processes for API connections including drag-and-drop data functionalityLead complex data science projects from conception to implementationDevelop real-time data processing solutions and data solutions at scaleIntegrate AI/ML with applications and systemsMentor junior data scientists and contribute to the overall growth of the data science teamCommunicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersRequired SkillsDegree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or related field7 years of experience in data science or related field plus additional 3 years experience in a complimentary functionStrong programming skills in Python SCALA and/or UNIX shell scriptingExpertise in machine learning techniques and statistical analysisProficiency in SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience with big data platforms such as Hadoop Spark and KafkaCloud computing expertise across AWS Azure and otherExperience in designing and implementing real-time data processing solutionsStrong understanding of AI/ML applications in systems and softwareExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsExperience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau PowerBI)Must remain on the client site during Program core hours of 0900-1500.Desired Skills (Optional)Experience in ICFamiliarity with drag-and-drop data tools and API integrationsPay Range:At GRVTY we understand that compensation is influenced by many factorssuch as geographic location federal contract labor categories wage rates prior experience skillsets education and certifications.Were proud to offer a work environment that empowers our team to achieve a strong work-life balance.
