Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: Big data is our business. At Data Trust, we provide the best political data in the market through our premier national voter file, combined with expansive consumer data inventories and individualized analytical models. We are enabling our right-of-center clients to create a data-first strategy.Job SummaryOur Data Acquisition Coordinator assists with the intake, auditing, and processing of voter file records and absentee/early vote datasets from state and local offices nationwide, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery. They also support internal teams with reliable data workflows, up-to-date election insights, and ad hoc data requests.Responsibilities- Coordinate with state and local offices nationwide to collect voter file and absentee & early vote data files- Complete necessary data request forms accurately and timely to ensure data is received promptly- Import and audit incoming voter files and absentee & early vote data files to ensure accuracy and completeness- Utilize Microsoft SQL and Excel to access, sort, organize, understand, and clean incoming data files- Create and maintain stored procedures for data files to ensure accuracy- Communicate regularly with other internal teams regarding timeliness and statuses- Research and understand key election dates and deadlines nationwide- Field and fulfill ad hoc projects from Client Services team members regarding unique data file requests- Stay abreast of current election laws and trends to ensure internal processes reflect any applicable changesSkills- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills- Reliability to accomplish work efficiently, thoroughly, and accurately- Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and priorities- Working knowledge in SQL- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace products, and Adobe AcrobatQualifications- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in political or data related field- Previous internship experience in politics, campaigns, government, or data related field, preferred- Ability to work early, late, or weekend hours during peak election seasons, as needed- Familiarity with or interest in conservative politics, election cycles, and campaignsFor any inquiries, please [email protected] compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
