Job DescriptionJob DescriptionData Coordinator-Full TimeWilling Hearts, Helpful Hands is an innovative community program serving family caregivers in Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties by connecting them with a circle of help that includes trained volunteers who provide an array of respite services. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for family caregivers of older adult loved ones by engaging the broader community to provide assistance and respite services. Our program is growing, and we are seeking a Data Coordinator to play a key role as our program expands.The Data Coordinator will support the delivery team of the organization, and their main role will be in handling the usage of data systems with security and confidentiality. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President for Research and Grants, the person in this role will be responsible for:Ensure a secure and timely flow of data within, to and from the organizationMaintain detailed database of all individuals receiving supportsReview project documents and make necessary revisionsUtilize database programs to run data queriesResponding to requests for information from members of the public and othersPrepare and submit data required for auditsAssist staff in data entry when requiredThe ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and will have advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project Manager, with prior experience working in a data coordinator or similar role a plus. Prior experience with the geriatric population or working in a healthcare or social services setting a plus.
