We seek visionary leaders who thrive in dynamic entrepreneurial settings and excel in autonomous roles.About the roleAs a Technical Product Manager: API Partners you will own the strategy delivery and operations of our API partner ecosystem enabling third-party integrations that extend MGTs reach and capabilities. You will be the bridge between external partners and internal teams ensuring that our APIs are intuitive reliable and unlock new distribution and data opportunities. Working closely with Engineering Insurance Distribution and Business Development you will build the infrastructure and partnerships that scale our platform through external integrations.What Youll doDesign and prioritize API features documentation and partner onboarding experiences that enable seamless third-party integrationOwn the end-to-end partner journey from initial integration through ongoing success serving as the primary product contact for API partnersUse SQL and other analytics tools daily to monitor API health track partner adoption metrics and identify opportunities for improvementCollaborate with Engineering to define API standards and developer tools that enable partners to integrate quickly and reliablyWork with Insurance and Distribution teams to identify high-value integration opportunities that unlock new channelsBuild and maintain API documentation code samples and integration guides that enable partners to self-serve where possibleInstrument API usage and partner engagement to measure business impact (e.g. partner X has driven Y% increase in Z metric)Manage the API product roadmap balancing partner requests with platform scalability and strategic prioritiesWho You Are3-5 years of product management experience with a focus on APIs developer platforms or partner ecosystemsBA/BS degree or equivalent work experienceFluent in SQL and experience in Looker or an equivalent BI toolStrong technical depth - you can read API documentation understand authentication flows and have meaningful technical conversations with engineering teamsExperience with REST APIs webhooks and API gateway technologiesCollaborative hands-on and relentless in pursuit of resultsExcellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersNice to haveA background in insurance insuretech or financial services.A passion for early-stage startups and/or high-growth experience.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Leadership role in shaping the future of a modern digital insurance platform.A collaborative and forward-thinking work environment.Location: This is a hybrid position (2-3 days per week) in our San Francisco or Madison WI office.Our Commitment to Diversity Equity & InclusionAt MGT inclusion drives excellence and belonging sustains it.
