Job SummaryMillennium-Space Systems is looking for a Data Products Team Lead who can develop and build a team responsible for the next generation of AI & ML products and services. As part of the core Data Products group, the candidate will lead project teams in developing innovative, reusable, and scalable solutions. This position will work effectively with cross-functional teams and technical leads to determine, define, and deploy analytics solutions to meet business goals.Position Responsibilities: Solve challenging problems involving multi-sensor data analysis, exploitation, and integration in overhead persistent infrared (OPIR) mission areas executed by the United States Space Force, Space Systems Command; Missile Defense Agency; Space Development Agency; and other community membersEvaluate business objectives, determine stakeholder needs, and identify requirements. Choose best fit methods, define algorithms, validate, and deploy models to achieve business results. Perform necessary data preparation and enhancements to modelsDevelop and deliver core data science and analytics solutions. Candidate should have strong expertise in statistics, AI and ML theories/concepts, and good domain expertise either in space operations, engineering, supply chain, sales or manufacturingUtilize advanced processing pipelines and other tools to analyze and exploit remotely sensed data to produce and disseminate productsAnalyze and parse data in a variety of geospatial file formats and databases for machine learning and algorithm optimization, testing, and validationProvide technical leadership to teams performing exploitation and process developmentCreate and deliver technical briefings and reports. Candidate will interface directly with senior business leaders and stakeholders to architect and lead the development of advanced analytics solutions supporting spacecraft operationsEmploy mathematical principles to evaluate, develop, and select processing techniques, optimizing calibration, background suppression, signal augmentation, target detection, geolocation, and multi-target and multi-sensor tracking of dim targetsDesign, operate, improve, optimize, and deploy scientific image processing and geospatial algorithmsLeverage end-to-end data exploitation and analytics knowledge to validate novel image and signal processing algorithmsApply end-to-end knowledge of data exploitation and data analytics to provide independent verification and validation of new image and signal processing algorithms and inform trade studies to optimize performance of space payloadsCraft innovative, multi phenomenology solutions, specialized visualizations, and analytical reports for customersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Advanced degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or other relevant engineeringStrong proficiency digital communications architectures, networking, and cloud infrastructureStrong proficiency with common version control, defect/task tracking, and documentation systemsDemonstrated experience leading a teamMust be versatile and able to perform and manage multiple tasks concurrentlyThis position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
