DescriptionQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Proficiency in Excel Access and other PC skills a must.Excellent time management skills.Ability to deal with sensitive data is essential. Must possess excellent customer service skills.Previous marketing experience a plus.Must have demonstrated ability to take initiative be detail-oriented and self-motivated.Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team.Must have an outgoing personality and be capable of working independently with very little supervision.Must have a flexible schedule.Must be able to type at least 40 wpm.Must be able to read write speak and understand English.Must present a well- groomed appearance.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Executes against activities and programs focused on maximizing return on investment for all direct marketing.Executes effective marketing programs targeted to existing and new customers including all customers and potential customers of Harrahs Resort Southern California.Works with other database staff across the brand to establish short and long-term direct marketing initiatives.Maintains current knowledge of database enhancements and products.Monitors transaction activity related to database management.Participates in development and administration of database systems that support the marketing efforts and coordinates the analysis of results driven by marketing efforts.Keeps all database merges purges updates and enhancements scheduled and synchronized with business objectives system restraints and data value.Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to department and company policies.Handles guest complaints.Create offer matrices for use by various casino departments and print vendorsBuild offers within Offer Client system associate patrons to offers transfer guest information via secured site to vendors coordinate mail shop process and communicate with vendors throughout mailing process to meet deadlinesRecord offer costs and production costs within Offer ClientMaintain current operating knowledge of Direct Marketing system functions to effectively coordinate marketing projectsWrite copy to be used for Direct MarketingCoordinate list loads in Ticketsage with offer mailingsRequest creative design for offers and work closely with vendors to ensure timelines and creative standards are metReview vendor proofs to ensure grammatical correctness regulatory compliance and accuracy with regards to offer matrix and guest play dataProcess offer redemptionPrepare and communicate offer overviews and telemarketing listsPrepare results reports to meet regulatory requirementsPlace property orders for generic Reel Reward couponsSecure bids from print vendors to meet budget guidelinesMaintain and update Harrahs Cherokee website by establishing relationships with key property leaders and corporate Internet Marketing team contacts for content accuracyProvide Internet Marketing support via e-marketing social marketing online media campaignspre-stay/post-stay e-mails newsletters and other online initiativesCreate and execute text alerts through mobile databaseMaintaining up to date working knowledge of email marketing systems by participating in online training and user callsDevelop and enhance companys online presence through frequent posts via social media responding to guest comments in a timely and accurate mannerRespond to offer related inquiries from external and internal customersBe a participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects committees and task force by providing input and suggestionsProactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employeesConduct special projectsOther duties as required to deliver excellent service to internal and external customersAdhere to regulatory departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical mannerOther duties as assigned.Essential Job Functions:All team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy.
