Position Title: DC Technician III Location: Abilene Texas (On-site) Duration : Contract Schedule: 24/7/365 environment rotating shifts (8 12 hours) including nights weekends and holidays. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician to support the installation maintenance and troubleshooting of network and server hardware in a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with physical infrastructure structured cabling and data center operations. Responsibilities: Physically install network racks and mount servers according to schematics and plans. Connect and neatly route Ethernet and power cables per design standards. Install remove and troubleshoot network hardware in data center racks without disturbing critical systems. Maintain accurate asset inventory and update internal systems as required. Support data center infrastructure projects and ensure adherence to operational best practices. Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber) installation and testing. Qualifications: 6 years of experience in data center operations or related technical roles. 5 years of experience with structured cabling (copper/fiber) and cable testing. Solid understanding of data center networking concepts and hardware. Ability to work rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
