As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our Day Habilitation and Respite programs , you'll play a key role in helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) live enriched, independent, and fulfilling lives. DSPs are mentors, advocates, and teammates who provide hands-on support while encouraging growth, choice, and dignity.
What You'll Do
Provide direct support to individuals with IDD in day habilitation and respite settings
Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement
Encourage independence, social connection, and meaningful daily routines
Follow and support Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and track progress
Promote health, safety, and well-being in all activities
Complete accurate documentation in compliance with Medicaid and agency requirements
Collaborate with teammates, families, and care partners to deliver high-quality, person-centered support

What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience in caregiving, IDD, or human services preferred-but we train the right candidates
At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Ability to pass required background checks and meet state/federal requirements
Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive difference
Additional Requirements:
Current auto insurance (minimum suggested liability: $300,000)
Current TB test (can be completed upon hire)
CPR/First Aid certification (we will train!)
