Our Marion IN office is looking for a Day Service Supervisor to coordinate and manage the day-to-day operation of the Day Service Program. Benchmark believes we are stronger better more effective in our pursuits when we are diverse; when we are equitable; and when we create space for everyone to be their authentic selves.Benefits:Health vision and dental insurance.Life insurance.Mileage reimbursement.401k with company match.Tuition reimbursement.Paid Time Off and Sick Time Pay.Flexible Spending Account (FSA).Employee discounts with various vendors.Advancement opportunities.Responsibilities:Supervise train and provide guidance to the staff in accordance with state federal regulations and Benchmark policiesParticipate in direct service for each client as neededComplete daily weekly monthly and yearly documentation as required by Benchmark state and federal regulationsCommunicate professionally with families case managers behavior consultants health care personnel schools employers etc.Implement training programs as specified in each clients ISPImplement and update curriculum as needed to fit the needs of clients served.Comply with and implements all protocols for individuals including but not limited to: high risk plans behavior support plans dining plans seizure management plans positioning schedules etc.Ensure proper medication/treatment administration and assists in meeting the clients healthcare needs.Identify and address any disciplinary issues with DSPsCollaborate with Asst Director / Supervisor of Day Services on hiring of new DSPsPlan and implements facility based age appropriate recreational activities in the community for clientsOther duties as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent2 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilitiesA minimum of 1 year supervisor experience preferredValid drivers license and auto insuranceMust complete training as required: Interviewing hiring discipline employee relations etc.Benchmark Human Services is an EOE/AAP Employer.
