You will build a career that you are proud of at a company you can believe in.DC Automation & Maintenance Technician I2nd Shift Hours M-F from 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMThe PERKS of working for Ferguson: Competitive compensationSafe Driver incentiveHourly bonus potentialBenefits (Medical Dental Vision Disability Life Insurance Wellness Programs etc.)401(K) Retirement Savings Plan with company matchPaid time off (vacation sick personal holiday and parental leave)Employee Assistance ProgramsAssociate discountsCommunity involvement opportunitiesOpportunities for growth and advancement both professionally and financiallyRESPONSIBILITIESESSENTIAL MHE FUNCTIONSPromote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.Operate maintain Autostore robotics carousel pick ports conveyor pick ports robots and chargers.Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building.Set calibrate or adjust equipment machinery and instruments so they align with production specifications or instructions.Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.Install maintain and troubleshoot relay logic ladder diagrams control components photo-eyes motor starters limit switches proximity sensors solenoids pneumatics etc.Troubleshoot High and Low voltage electrical using Multimeter.Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours equipment maintenance and parts used.Develop training plans for service technicians.Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.ESSENTIAL FACILITY FUNCTIONSPerform necessary repairs and maintenance to the office/building.Painting Plumbing some janitorial workLow and High voltage electricalRack Installation/repair.Dock/Door maintenanceWeldingBasic fabricationResponsible for company tools and maintenance equipment used in performance of job duties including inventory maintenance safe operation proper storage and security of tool area.Must be willing to work occasional nights/weekends/on call.Other duties as assigned by Manager.QUALIFICATIONSBASIC QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent.CMMS experience required.Ability to work autonomously.Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas including weekends nights and/or holidays.Automation Conveyance PLCs or Robotics repair technician experience in a distribution logistics or manufacturing environment.Repair technician experience in a distribution logistics or manufacturing environment.Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.*Pre-employment drug and background screening required*At Ferguson we care for each other.
