JOB DESCRIPTION
Deburrer
Join a dynamic machine shop specializing in aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial industries. This position is focused on ensuring the highest quality of finished products by removing rough edges, burrs, and imperfections from materials after the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Deburr various machined parts as instructed.
- Deburr threads as instructed.
- Package and unpackage parts.
- Stamp or mark parts as required.
- Perform saw cut operation as directed.
- Follow instructions of related Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and work instructions.
- Execute authorities as described in related QMS documentation or as provided by direct supervisors.
- Engage in tasks such as deburring, training, operating, measuring, laboring, polishing, general production, grinding, polishing, sanding, and assembly.
Essential Skills
- Experience with hand tools for assembling, deburring, grinding, polishing, or general labor within machine shop, production, or construction industries.
- Ability to comprehend and follow shop planning.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to inspect work using calipers and/or micrometers (a plus).
- Willingness to train.
- Ability to lift 25lbs.
- Proficiency in English communication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with preservative oils (a plus).

Work Environment
This is a 1st shift position (6:30am - 3pm) with potential for overtime. You will be working in an aerospace machine shop that houses over 50 CNC machines, producing parts for jet fighters, missiles, commercial airplanes, helicopters, satellites, race cars, medical equipment, and water pumps. It is essential that candidates are comfortable with the fact that some parts are manufactured for military purposes. The work environment requires the use of steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Fe Springs, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
