Responsibilities Location: Wichita, KS (On-site) Key Accountabilities: Monitor Spirit for compliance with the U.S. Government rules and regulationsResponsible for disseminating current policy and providing advice, ensuring effective government property implementation on new contracts including contractor performance reports, facilitating Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), risk assessments, and supporting surveillance activities to assess the government property management processes and the reports the system producesIdentify weaknesses and issues and recommend solutions to mitigate and strengthen processes adherence as they relate to the government propertyRemain current on applicable U.S. Government regulations, industry best practices, newsletters, media, and information that support compliance standardsExecute a comprehensive Government Compliance program which includes coaching, formal training, newsletters, and various forms of communication to build, maintain, and improve U.S. Government compliance capability and controlRespectfully challenge any inconsistencies to ensure full compliance, and aggressively address and fix issuesLiaison with the U.S. Government agencies of DCAA and DCMA during their reviews and audits to ensure continued complianceEnsure continuous improvement by addressing audit findings in subsequent document and training revision Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's DegreeExperience in a Business & Compliance classification / positionLevel 2: 2-5+ years of government property, supply chain, project management, contracts, and/or related experienceLevel 3: 5-10+ years of government property, supply chain, project management, contracts, and/or related experienceLevel 4: 10+ years of government property, supply chain, project management, contracts, and/or related experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security ClearanceSuccessful candidates must be able to secure program access approvalPreferred Qualifications: Active DoD Security ClearanceAuditing, government compliance, and/or regulatory oversight experienceStrong background in Government Property, Finance, Cost & Pricing Data, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Project Management, Contracts, and/or Business & Compliance Working knowledge of SAPAbility to understand and apply U.S. Government regulations and ensure strict adherence to FAR, CAS, and GAAP/SOX requirementsAbility to work with functional and program teams to abide by and follow relevant policies, procedures, and desktop instructionsAbility to educate others on process controls and U.S. Government Compliance requirementsAbility to work with U.S Government auditors in a collaborative and transparent mannerStrong communication, writing, critical thinking, and computer skillsPossess significant Excel skills Ability to quickly decompose and analyze dataDetail-oriented Spirit AeroSystems is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected factor under federal, state or local law.
