OverviewThis role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit's Defense Business Unit ("Spirit Defense"). ResponsibilitiesLocation: Wichita, KS (On-site) Key Accountabilities:Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and close individual projects and/or programs (defined as a collection of projects and services whichtogether achieve common business goals and strategic initiatives with potentially long implementation time frames)May manage several unrelated projects simultaneouslyManages activities utilizing a variety of project methodologies, including PMI, Spirit Defense, and Agile tools and templates to uphold project-to-project consistencyWork with supporting departments to develop high-level and detailed timelines and project plans and other project artifactsManage all project/program activities, such as, but not limited to, schedules, status, risk/issues, resources, gaps, analysis, and meetingsDirect the work of project team members (internal and/or external) in a matrixed environment, ensuring adherence to approved processes and schedulesSet expectations of cost, quality, task sequencing, due dates, and milestones, ensuring project team active participation, collaboration and coordination so project deliverables are on time and meet expectationsMonitor all aspects of the project and/or program by measuring progress and correcting course when project is not meeting goals and objectives. Ensure project remains on schedule by managing project plan and removing barriersProvide consultative services to other projects/programs that have integration points and/or impact to project to ensure collaboration and efficiency between projects/programsManage project risk by identifying, planning for, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate or minimize risksPrepare standard project and/or program communications including status reports, dashboards, and other materials to keep all stakeholders informed of project status and related issuesDevelop and present information in various formats to inform, gain cooperation and/or resolve issues QualificationsRequired Qualifications: High School Diploma or GEDExperience in a related IT role Level 1: 0-1+ years of experience Level 2: 2-4+ years of experience Level 3: 5-8+ years of experience Level 4: 9-13+ years of experience Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security ClearanceMust be able to secure Program access approvalPreferred Qualifications:Active DoD Security ClearanceBachelor's DegreeIT Analyst, Business Analyst, and/or Financial Analyst backgroundCost Management experiencePMP certificationTableau experiencePossess a broad understanding of general IT processes, infrastructure, and applicationsProficient in Microsoft Office Products - Project, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.Union:This is a union-represented position. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: Level 1: $52,850 - $81,000 | Level 2: $70,150 - 107,600 | Level 3: $88,200 - $135,250 | Level 4: $113,100 - $173,400 Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit AeroSystems' Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
