OverviewThis role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit's Defense Business Unit ("Spirit Defense"). ResponsibilitiesLocation: Wichita, KS (On-site) Key Accountabilities:Analyzes, plans, and controls the inventory levels, schedules and allocations of manufactured, purchased, and furnished materialsAnalyzes and integrates bills of material, master schedules, and resources to determine demandTroubleshooting business process bottlenecks and following through on their resolutionAuthorizes acquisition or manufacture of product to satisfy demand and dispose of residual materialsCoordinates with customers, and manufacturing to monitor and maintain lead time and schedulesSupports business process mapping and execution related to materialExecutes earned value management processes for material control accountsAnalyzing material transactions in ERP systems to understand cost impacts and validate proper allocationFacilitates preparation for government audit requirements QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Experience in a Material Management classification / positionLevel 3: Bachelor's Degree and 5-10+ years of related material management experienceLevel 4: Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of related material management experience1+ year of ERP/MRP experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearanceSuccessful candidates must be able to secure Program access approvalPreferred Qualifications:Active DoD security clearanceExperience preparing forecasts and performance reports that are presented to director and executive levels of leadershipComputer Skills: Microsoft Excel specificallyStrong knowledge of SAPStrong understanding of inventory management, inventory planning, production workflows, and/or manufacturing processesExperience working in a regulated environmentUnion:This is a union-represented position. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: Level 3: $69,550 - $106,600 | Level 4: $69,550 - $106,600 Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit AeroSystems' Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
