ResponsibilitiesKey Accountabilities:Provides assistance in manufacturing and production processesApplies principles and practices typically associated with quality engineering, industrial engineering, and manufacturing engineering functions and coordinates with other support disciplines or core functions as requiredDevelops quality and cost-effective methods, standards, and systems for production by applying production engineering principlesParticipates in technical research on proposed projectsOffers guidance to manufacturing staff QualificationsRequired Qualifications:5-9+ years of related experience Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security ClearanceSuccessful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approvalHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Trade School certificate Understanding of fabrication and/or assembly build processes and sequencingExperience in Continuous improvement and Manufacturing SupportFSDA implementation3DX capabilityFamiliarity with drilling and welding hard metalsFamiliarity with composite processes and materialsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environmentSelf-motivated; taking ownership of projects and issues, including follow through to closureStrong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detailProject Management experienceExperience with MS Office SuiteExperience with SAPUnion:This is a union-represented position. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: $ 71,750.00 - $110,000.00 Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit AeroSystems' Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
