OverviewThis role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit's Defense Business Unit ("Spirit Defense"). ResponsibilitiesKey Accountabilities:Key member of a team responsible for synchronizing the supply chain to procure goods and services for the company.Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality parts.Acts as an authorized agent of the company, managing supplier-related activities and committing company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates contracts, and manages post-award supplier activities.Manages inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance.Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning. QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related fieldHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferred Skills:Strong data analysis skills are a plusKnowledge or experience in manufacturing and manufacturing processes is advantageousFamiliarity with MRP Systems, with preference given to SAP experienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experienceUnion:This is a union-represented position. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: $73,050 - $112,000 Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit AeroSystems' Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
