Join us for a rewarding career in the aviation industry!DEICING DUTY MANAGER I AT PRIMEFLIGHTThe Deicing Duty Manager I is responsible for assisting the General Manager with day-to-day operations and providing station support for additional operations assigned to the Deicing Ops Team. The successful candidate should have a strong background in overseeing successful operations and supervision of a frontline workforce focused on safety customer service and efficient operations. This airport-based role supports the aviation industry and requires extended work hours primarily during adverse weather operations.RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the GM to develop implement maintain and oversee the administration of workforce planning workflow and process management to ensure deicing operations are performing at optimal levelsSupervise the day-to day operationsProvide safety training to all employeesMust possess the skills and abilities of a highly skilled supervisor and is expected to work alongside deicing employees to assist in the deicing operationEnsure all safety policies and programs are adhered toReview and complete all relevant reports for accuracy within a timely mannerParticipate in development and implementation of processes for improvement to operation and safetyAlong with the GM act as primary interface to customersManage deicing activities to ensure work quality standards are metEnsure completion and accuracy of required record keepingAssist in recruiting interviewing and hiring processDemonstrate regular predictable attendance at job locationReport for on call shifts during times of severe weather and/or during nonoperational monthsCommunicate performance expectations and company initiatives on a regular basis to employeesAssist in the development and delivery of performance reviews and provide overall ongoing feedback to improve employee morale and performanceManage and diffuse customer complaints by developing implementing and communicating a plan of action to correct issues.Provide oversight and direction of inventory management and vendor relationsMay be assigned other duties as required including during the offseason and in other lines of business outside of deicingQUALIFICATIONS18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United StatesOne year of Management/Supervisor/Lead experience requiredFleet maintenance and mechanical knowledge is a plusMust have a valid state-issued drivers license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to read write speak and understand the English language to include documentsAbility to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets Computers and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients both in-person and through electronic meansEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA TSA Port Authority U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Ability to work any day/shift including holidays within a 24/7 operationTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
