Delivery Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Assistant to join our team. You will work Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, with some variability in end times based on daily needs. Your primary role will be to assist in the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to both commercial and residential job sites. You will collaborate with contractors to ensure materials are placed accurately, supporting our drivers and warehouse team in the loading, unloading, and staging of materials, including bundles of drywall, steel studs, and insulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of building materials to job sites.
• Follow directions from contractors to place products accurately at job sites.
• Support drivers and warehouse teams with loading and unloading of materials.
• Ensure safe handling of materials and equipment.
• Work closely with CDL drivers throughout the delivery process.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100 lbs) repeatedly on deliveries.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependability and punctuality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
• Previous experience in construction or delivery is a plus.

Work Environment

This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be paired with a CDL driver for the day's deliveries. Steel toe boots are required to ensure safety on the job.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
