A Day in the Life:

  • Develop and manage 24-month demand plans for key product portfolios
  • Enhance forecast accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Translate market insights into actionable supply chain plans
  • Leverage advanced analytics and forecasting tools
  • Manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
  • Facilitate demand review meetings
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyze market trends, historical data, and business intelligence to create accurate forecasts
  • Maintain strong partnerships with Product Management, Commercial, Finance, and Manufacturing teams
  • Optimize inventory levels, reducing excess and obsolescence risk, and ensuring efficient production planning.

Keys to Success:

Education:

  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree (Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field)
  • APICS certification preferred
  • CSCMP or comparable supply chain certification a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum Required Experience: 2 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management
  • Forecasting/ demand planning tool experience required (Kinaxis preferred; SAP, Forecast Pro, or similar platforms)
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI
  • Experience in S&OP processes and inventory management
  • Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and project management
  • Experience using Lean business practices and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience in life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Advanced analytical skills with expertise in statistical modeling and forecasting techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making capability
  • English proficiency required; additional languages a plus
