We offer a supportive and rewarding work environment where your skills make a direct impact on student success.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Dental Assistant Instructor who is passionate about teaching and shaping the future of healthcare. Our instructor of choice will have excellent people skills, and be able to provide students with the skills and knowledge they will need to effectively function in the role of dental assistant in any dentistry practice. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.Primary Responsibilities:Effectively present in-class lectures, demonstrate good hands-on lab skills that are consistent with course syllabus, policies and procedures related to the program.Provide students with timely feedback on academic progress and be able to address any concern registered by students where applicable.Demonstrate expertise in the dental assisting profession.Ensure all classes and lab sessions meet scheduled duration and learning objectives.Adhere to all institutional policies and ensure students comply with dress code, attendance, and professionalism standards.Collaborate with the Director to address student attendance, academic, or behavioral concerns promptly.Provide timely and constructive feedback to students regarding academic performance and clinical skillsServe as a role model for professional behavior, integrity, and compassionate care.Foster a professional and supportive classroom and clinical environment conducive to learning.Assess and evaluate student performance objectively through skills demonstrations, exams, and participation.Qualifications:3-5 years in general dentistry practice2-3 years’ experience teaching Dental Assistant curriculum is a plusActive CPR/BLS for Healthcare Provider card issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite of applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a highly diverse environment.Must consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and autonomy.Why Join MACOHS?Be part of a mission-driven team that transforms lives through educationWork in a positive, student-centered environment where your contributions are valued.Competitive compensation and flexible scheduling optionsOpportunity for professional development and advancementIf you’re passionate about education and healthcare, we want to hear from you!
