Job SummaryThis position supports the clinical faculty dental students and other clinical support staff in the CDM Clinical Sites with a primary role in CDM Simulation Clinic. This Dental Assistant prepares dispenses and maintains dental instruments supplies and equipment. Additional tasks include the following: Support simulation clinic operations Support CDM clinical staff as needed Support the educational mission of CDMRequired QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Education: Any combination of education training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. Experience: One or more years of experience as a dental assistant in a clinic hospital clinic or dental office. Licensure and Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification and CA radiation safety certification. Must have completed or be able to complete within 90 days of hire: a California Dental Board approved course in the Dental Practice Act and a California Board approved course in infection control.
