Work with a dedicated and caring organization and start doing your lifes best work.Place of performance:The Dental Hygienist Services will be performed on-site in the Health Services Department at the Federal Correctional Institution Tallahassee in Tallahassee FL. You must pass mandatory background credit check and drug screening.Pay:$44.54.Sign-on bonus:$1500 sign-on bonus.Benefits:Health insurance.Dental insurance.Vision insurance.401(k).Paid sick leave.Paid vacation.11 paid holidays.Shifts:40 hours per week between the hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm. The shift will be up to 8 sessions per day with a thirty (30) minute unpaid lunch period if applicable Monday through Friday exclusive of Federal holidays.Description of duties:Provide dental prophylaxis on inmate patients who are referred by the dental staff.Provide periodontal scaling and root planning on inmate patients who are referred by the dental staff.Provide complete periodontal charting on inmate patients.Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient.Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis.Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the Dentist.Education and experience:Candidate is required to be certified/licensed as a Dental Hygienist in Florida and must submit photocopies of their license and/or board certification.Dental radiology certification anesthesia certification and CPR certification are also required.
