Position Overview:

Seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality oral hygiene and preventive dental care services to patients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a compassionate, patient-focused environment while helping improve the oral health and overall well-being of children and families in underserved communities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide oral health education and individual counseling to dental patients.
• Perform preventive dental hygiene services and support patient care.
• Take dental X-rays, complete charting, and assist with maintaining an efficient hygiene workflow.
• Maintain dental hygiene instruments by selecting, sterilizing, and ensuring proper care of equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Support a clean, safe, and patient-friendly clinical environment.
• Follow all compliance standards, including ADA, OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active Dental Hygienist license/certification required
• Prior pediatric dentistry experience preferred
• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and clinical practices
• Understanding of ADA/OSHA/HIPAA/CDC compliance requirements
• Ability to administer local anesthesia (where applicable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and provide excellent patient care
