Job Title Deployment Site Reliability EngineerCorporate Title AssociateLocation Cary, NCOverviewAs a Deployment Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing complex network deployments that support high availability and performance across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate infrastructure, monitor systems, and drive continuous improvement. Your role will help shape the technical direction of network operations while ensuring scalable and secure delivery. You will be a key contributor to innovation and operational excellence in a dynamic, enterprise environment.What We Offer You A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaborationA hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer daysEmployee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagementCompetitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefitsEducational resources, matching gift and volunteer programsWhat You’ll DoPlan, design, and execute deployment of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems across multiple sitesDesign and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AnsibleCollaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve network design, optimize performance, and reduce latencyAutomate deployment and monitor tasks using scripting and configuration management toolsAnalyze current network deployments and propose improvements for scalability, security, and efficiencyInfluence technical direction by identifying trends and recommending innovative solutions and architecturesSkills You’ll NeedProficiency in Linux and Unix systems commonly used in server environmentsExperience with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Prometheus for performance tracking and incident responseUnderstanding of networking protocols including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN)Familiarity with enterprise network environments, preferably within financial institutionsCertified technical engineer (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate)Skills That Will Help You Excel Experience with hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet or equivalentProficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages like YAML, JSON, or PythonExperience with version control systems, preferably GitExposure to Infrastructure as a code or keenness to learn itExperience in agile or DevOps-oriented environmentsExpectationsIt is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $60,000 to $86,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
