Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, Missile Defense Integration Business Unit (BU), has an exciting career opportunity for a Deputy Infrastructure Lead – Level 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse, and innovative individuals located in Huntsville, AL.
Position Overview:
As a Deputy supporting Internal Research and Development (IRAD), you will work in a collaborative environment to understand system requirements and perform software development for an innovative Fire Control System.
Essential Functions:
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related experience, or a PhD and 4 years of related work experience.
Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
Experience Developing Software in C++, Java or Python
Prior experience working with containerization technologies
Use of Docker or Kubernetes to deploy/manage applications
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs
Applicants must be able to support an in-person / closed-area work environment
Preferred Qualifications
A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
