Are you a creative problem-solver looking to break into the world of high-end events? We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and design-minded Design Assistant to join our growing team. If you have a passion for beautiful spaces but also get a thrill from a perfectly organized to-do list, this is the role for you. In this position, you won't just be picking out color palettes; you'll be learning the "how" behind the "wow." You will be the right hand to our Lead Designer, helping bridge the gap between a creative vision and its real-world execution. What You'll Do (The Growth Path) Design Support: Assist in building mood boards, sourcing unique decor, and learning how to create professional floor plans. Logistics & Data: Master the art of event tracking, Google sheets experience a bonus Vendor Coordination: Learn how to manage professional relationships by requesting quotes, confirming orders, and tracking deliveries from florists, printers, and rental houses. On-Site Experience: See your work come to life! You'll assist with event setup (load-in) and breakdown (strike), styling decor on-site, and learning how to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment. Who You Are Detail-Oriented: You're the person who notices the small things and naturally creates checklists to keep yourself on track. Tech-Friendly: You have a basic comfort level with Google Sheets, Canva and are eager to learn how to use them for project management. Great Communicator: You can write a clear, professional email and aren't afraid to pick up the phone to check on an order. Flexible & Hardworking: You're excited about the "event life," which includes some travel, weekend work, and the physical hustle of event days. Design Enthusiast: You likely have a degree or background in Interior Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. While you don't need event experience, you must have a "good eye." Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Physicality: Ability to lift 25+ lbs (moving decor/boxes). Travel: Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel (approx. 8-10% of the year). Location: We are looking for local candidates for warehouse visits and in-office collaboration.
