The Design Engineer responsibilities also include but are not limited to the following:Design work in accordance with industry standards and Vulcraft manufacturing processesReview contract documents such as structural drawings architectural drawings and project specificationsProvide direction and technical support to detailers shop orders and production teammates during project development design and fabricationCommunicate with internal and external customers including other design professionalsBe responsive to develop and maintain strong relationships with our direct and indirect partnersPromote Vulcraft products with specifiers or at conventionsThis position is a salaried position plus ROA bonus. Occasional travel is required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.Successful candidates will be expected to train at the Vulcraft Alabama plant for a period of time.Minimum Requirements: B.S.
