Responsibilities:Producing accurate and clear engineering drawings and accurate bills of material for new and existing productsCreating custom designs and layout drawings on CAD system as required on customer order of specificationsDirectly communicate with marketing and customers in the form of meetings and presentations to understand and define their needsBe able to assist Sales with pricing projectsProducing technical illustrations for owners manuals bulletins and sales literatureManage several projects at one timeHandle all changes and problems related to product designAct as a technical expert for the company for both internal and external customersResponsible for an entire products life cycleAssist manufacturing quality and planning as requiredRequirements:BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Engineering degree is preferred)2 years experience in a design and manufacturing environment preferredAbility to work independentlyBackground and previous experience with Solid Works.
