Please do not submit any candidates that do not have a LinkedIn. client seeking a Desktop Support/IT Generalist in Miami FL (Florida). Responsibilities: Provide technical support to end-users for hardware software and network-related issues Install configure and maintain desktops laptops printers and other peripherals Troubleshoot and resolve issues with operating systems (Windows macOS Linux) and common software applications Assist with system and network administration tasks including user account management and permissions Support IT security initiatives including antivirus updates patch management and security best practices Manage IT inventory including tracking hardware and software licenses Set up and support video conferencing VoIP and remote work solutions Document IT processes troubleshooting steps and resolutions for knowledge sharing Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT tools and best practices Collaborate with vendors and escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary Required Skills : * Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) * 2 years of experience in IT support desktop support or a generalist IT role * Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows macOS and mobile devices * Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DHCP DNS VPN etc.) * Experience with Active Directory Office 365 and cloud-based applications is a plus * Knowledge of IT security best practices * Strong customer service and communication skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : 2 years IT support Windows/Mac troubleshooting and strong customer service experience Background Check : No Drug Screen : No Rank :B2 Requested Date : Key Skills Mac Os,Active Directory,Desktop Support,Computer Networking,Mobile Devices,Windows,Remote Access Software,SCCM,Help Desk,Operating Systems,Remedy,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
