Job DescriptionTitle: Desktop Support Specialist II Location: Chandler AZ - Onsite Employment Type: 3-Month Contract (with potential for permanent position)Our client is a long-standing leader in the renewable energy sector with over 30 years of innovation behind them. They are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist II who is experienced reliable and committed to delivering exceptional end-user support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems owning escalations and supporting both hardware and software across a dynamic environment.As a Desktop Support Specialist II you will provide advanced desktop hardware and application support to users onsite in Chandler as well as remote employees across multiple locations. Youll serve as an escalation point for Level I support and will handle more complex issues system configurations and hands-on troubleshooting. You will also assist in equipment setup workstation deployments and contribute to infrastructure-related projects.What Youll DoProvide Tier II desktop support to onsite and remote usersServe as an escalation point for Level I support for complex incidentsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops laptops peripherals printers and mobile devicesInstall configure and upgrade operating systems software and hardwareSupport MS Office applications VPN connectivity and business-critical applicationsPerform workstation imaging builds and deploymentsAssist with user onboarding account setup permissions and equipment assignmentsManage and document tickets resolutions and technical proceduresCoordinate repairs or replacements for hardware failuresSupport basic network troubleshooting (connectivity DNS/DHCP issues patching)Maintain an organized inventory of equipment and assist with IT asset managementParticipate in IT improvement initiatives desk moves and small-scale technical projectsPerform other related duties as neededRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma (or equivalent)35 years of hands-on experience in a Desktop Support IT Support or Helpdesk II roleStrong understanding of Windows OS user profiles and workstation troubleshootingExperience with Office 365 administration and application supportExperience with Active Directory (user accounts password resets group assignments)Experience with hardware support including laptops desktops monitors and peripheralsExperience with imaging tools and workstation deployment processesKnowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP DHCP DNS VLAN basics)Strong customer service skills with ability to communicate clearly and professionallyAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyReliable self-motivated and detail-orientedAbility to lift up to 50 lbs for equipment moves and installationsWillingness to work occasional overtime or after-hours for escalations or maintenanceStrong documentation and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsAssociates degree in IT Computer Science or similar fieldExperience supporting users across multiple sites or environmentsExposure to ticketing systems such as ServiceNow Jira Zendesk or similarExperience working in manufacturing energy or operational/industrial settingsTo find more great tech-centric jobs please visit .Required Experience:IC Key Skills Mac Os,Active Directory,Desktop Support,Computer Networking,Mobile Devices,Windows,Remote Access Software,SCCM,Help Desk,Operating Systems,Remedy,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Contract Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 30 - 35
