The Power Washer, or pressure washing technician, is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various surfaces using high-powered pressure washing equipment, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. PAY $18.00 per hour RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate Pressure Washing Equipment: Use high-pressure water sprays to clean surfaces such as buildings, sidewalks, vehicles, and outdoor furniture.Surface Preparation: Inspect surfaces for potential hazards or damage before beginning work and prepare areas for cleaning by removing debris and obstacles.Select Cleaning Solutions: Choose appropriate cleaning agents based on the surface type and level of dirt or stains to ensure effective cleaning without damage.Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on pressure washing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, provide job estimates, and ensure satisfaction upon job completion.Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety procedures and use protective gear to minimize risks associated with high-pressure equipment and cleaning agents.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)No prior work history requiredAbility to work independently with little to no direct supervisionAbility to handle cleaning equipment and machineryKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and suppliesExcellent written, oral, and customer service skillsWillingness to learn new skills and train othersAttention to detailBasic computer skills to be able to access timecards, training, and employment informationAbility to multi-taskPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prior power wash work experiencePrior experience as a floor technicianExperience in cleaning and restoring floor coverings such as carpet, tile, vinylValid driver's licenseClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
