You will be instrumental in future-proofing our operations through the design development and influence on operating models and continuous change. As a trusted advisor you will develop and implement workforce strategies that align with business and functional strategy to meet business objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding workforce requirements to design organizations at the operating model and organization design level to achieve strategic intent.Key ResponsibilitiesOur approach to organizational design helps guide our clients from assessment through to implementation. Youll lead large-scale organizational design projects and advise stakeholders while building relationships with colleagues and clients. Youll also work collaboratively to deliver innovative and insightful solutions for a range of challenges from how to best structure teams to deliver on the organizations strategy to how the organizations structure can allow for more agile ways of working.Skills and Attributes for successSome key capabilities you should be prepared to bring to client facing and internal initiative teams include:Youll be expected to lead project workstreams from planning through implementation including managing project resources and budgets effectively and identify and effectively manage and mitigate any risks and issuesUnderstanding of using organizational design strategic workforce planning and change management as integral components of transformational initiatives focused on accelerating business performance. Understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with acquisitions divestures mergers and the organizational design implicationsDemonstrate technical competence in our key capabilities and take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex client challengesContribute to generate profitable revenue by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clientsInfluence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisionsEncourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members and promote an inclusive working environmentUnderstanding of human resources opportunities challenges and issues in at least one of the sectors we serve (e.g. Oil & Gas Health Telecommunications Power & Utilities Insurance Media & Entertainment)Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clientsPassionate about advancing the PAS practice by leading the development of thought leadership and EY approaches tools and methodologies in organization designCoach and develop teams and colleagues and act as a visible role model for our peopleTo qualify for the role you must have:Relevant professional service experience with a global management consultancy firm or niche consultancy in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)Around 6-9 years of prior experience inOperating Model DevelopmentOrganizational Structure and Design Strategic Workforce Planning Capability Mapping Organizational Assessment and Organizational Governance with success in current job applying one or more of these capabilitiesExperience of leading org. design engagements in one or more of the following functional domains supply chain IT finance customer sales & marketing. Should have worked in large multi-disciplinary teams as part of functional and enterprise-wide transformation engagementsProven track record in managing and analysing large datasets and using analytics in project execution. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125900 to $231100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $151200 to $262600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and addition our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage pension and 401(k) plans and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement project or year.Under our flexible vacation policy youll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
