Engine Harness Development EngineerJob Description:Looking for a self-motivated Engine Harness Development Engineer who is responsible for the design prototype and documentation of engine transmission and electrified powertrain wiring harnesses to support conventional and electrified powertrain test cells located at the Chrysler Technical Center in Auburn Hills Michigan. The engineers responsibilities also include organizing and overseeing the build of such harnesses (both in-house and outsourced to a supplier) checking for errors verifying operation controlling inventory diagnosing/troubleshooting issues in the field and ensuring corrective actions are made when necessary. The Engine Harness Development Engineer will be expected to be able to read and interpret device transmittal information and be able to utilize that information to efficiently design wiring harnesses for dynamometer testing. In addition the engineer will be required to interface with a network of product development engineers to gather required electrical information work with technicians and third party suppliers to ensure harnesses are built to specification document designs and maintain the drawing database.Requirements:RequirementsBachelor degree in Electrical Mechanical Automotive or Aeronautical Engineering from an ABET accredited university2 years of relevant work experienceStrong background and hands-on experience in wiring requirements such as current voltage and electrical noise mitigation (proper grounding shielding twisted wiring)Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environmentAbility to guide technicians with work orders and direction for repairing / modifying wire harnessesExperience using MS Office and/or Google Suite applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Requirements:Masters degree in Electrical Mechanical Automotive or Aeronautical Engineering from an ABET accredited university5 years of relevant work experienceExperience in automotive and instrumentation wiring as well as experience with data acquisition systems and dynamometer operationsExperience with wiring and operation of battery electric and hybrid electric powertrain systemExperience with the repair / assembly of vehicles engines transmissions etcAdditional Must Haves:Location CTC 100% onsite1st Shift 6:30am-3:00pmNo travelNo driving a Stellantis vehicle requiredRequired Education:Bachelors degree Key Skills Laboratory Experience,Aseptic Technique,Mammalian Cell Culture,Fundraising,Microsoft Publisher,Conflict Management,Constant Contact,Salesforce,cGMP,Cell Culture,Grant Writing,Child Protective Services Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 80000 - 80000
