We strive to keep people safe and informed, everywhere, every time.Join us!We're looking for smart, creative, and driven DevOps engineers to build and scale our development and production infrastructure for InformaCast.Education Requirements:College grad with a CS degree or equivalent experienceJob Duties:Create and improve internal tooling and processes to support continuous integration/continuous delivery of our systemCollaborate across teams and roles to solve problems in elegant, maintainable waysAnalyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of our cloud architectureDeploy new and existing services to staging and production environmentsMaintain high availability across our services so customers can reliably send notifications at any timeQualifications and Skills:Experience managing highly available and scalable systems in AWSAbility to troubleshoot large-scale, safety-critical systemsWillingness to participate in on-call rotation for production issuesExcellent organizational skillsPassion for personal growth and continuing educationAbility to maintain a positive attitude, even in stressful situationsClear communication, both orally and in writing, to effectively engage both team members and others across different teams and rolesMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipExperience in any of the following technologies is a plus:Scripting: Python, Groovy, BashJVM Languages: Clojure, JavaDatabases: PostgreSQLConfiguration management: Puppet, ECS, CloudFormation, KubernetesDelivery and deployment of code: Git, CI, DockerData exchange: Kafka, RabbitMQAt Singlewire, we believe what we do really matters.
