Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect with 8 years of hands-on expertise in designing implementing and scaling cloud-native automated and secure DevOps ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have strong architectural thinking leadership capability and deep knowledge of CI/CD containerization IaC and cloud platforms. You will be responsible for building highly available resilient and automated infrastructure while driving DevOps best practices across teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Architecture & Strategy Design end-to-end DevOps architecture across CI/CD automation cloud infrastructure monitoring and security. Define DevOps roadmap standards and governance models. Evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools frameworks and technologies. 2. CI/CD & Automation Architect scalable CI/CD pipelines for microservices monoliths and distributed systems. Automate build test release and deployment workflows. Standardize pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions Bamboo or Azure DevOps. 3. Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) Build and optimize cloud-native infrastructure using best practices. Lead cloud migration cost optimization and architecture modernization. Ensure high availability scalability and disaster recovery planning. 4. Containerization & Orchestration Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS AKS GKE OpenShift). Implement service mesh ingress management autoscaling and secure container workflows. Optimize Docker images deployments and resource usage. 5. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Create and manage IaC using Terraform CloudFormation Pulumi or Ansible. Automate provisioning configuration management and environment consistency. 6. Observability & Monitoring Architect full-stack monitoring for logs metrics traces and alerts. Tools: Prometheus Grafana ELK/EFK Datadog New Relic Splunk Dynatrace. 7. Security & Compliance Implement DevSecOps practices across SLDC. Ensure secrets management vulnerability scanning compliance and zero-trust principles. Tools: Vault Snyk Checkmarx Trivy SonarQube AWS/Azure Security tools. 8. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with engineering QA cloud SRE and security teams. Provide technical leadership mentoring and support. Drive documentation best practices and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications 8 years of DevOps / Cloud / SRE experience. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes Docker Terraform and Linux. Expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP architecture. Strong scripting skills: Python Bash PowerShell. Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools. Strong understanding of networking load balancers firewalls DNS VPCs. Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD Flux) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving communication and architectural skills.
