DGS Programmer Analyst 3 at vTech Solution

Job Summary: The Senior Power Platform Developer will be responsible for enhancing existing Power Platform applications including transitioning from Model-Driven to Canvas Apps. They will also design build and maintain Canvas Apps modify and extend existing Model-Driven Apps and develop configure and enhance solutions using Power Pages (Portals). The developer will work closely with stakeholders Business Analysts and IT staff to deliver high-quality maintainable solutions. Location:Richmond Virginia United States Responsibilities: - Enhance existing Power Platform applications including transitioning from Model-Driven to Canvas Apps. - Design build and maintain Canvas Apps with strong UX responsive layouts and optimized delegation. - Modify and extend existing Model-Driven Apps including Dataverse schema updates and security role configurations. - Develop configure and enhance solutions using Power Pages (Portals) including Liquid templates authentication and web forms. - Build optimize and troubleshoot Power Automate cloud flows integrating with SharePoint Dataverse and Outlook. - Design and maintain Dataverse tables relationships business rules and dataflows. - Create efficient scalable and maintainable Power Platform solutions following best practices and governance policies. - Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements refine user stories and translate needs into technical specifications. - Provide technical guidance documentation and support to internal team members. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Required Skills & Certifications: - Canvas Apps: App design custom connectors responsive layouts UX best practices delegation handling (3 years). - Model-Driven Apps: Dataverse schema design business rules command bar customization security roles (3 years). - Power Pages / Portals: Web roles permissions Liquid templates authentication (AAD/external) web forms (2 years). - Power Automate: Cloud flows approvals error handling integration with SharePoint Dataverse Outlook (3 years). - Dataverse: Relationships business rules security model dataflows (3 years). - Security & Governance: DLP policies environment strategy role-based access (2 years). - Licensing / Cost Optimization: Understanding Power Platform licensing tiers and designing cost-efficient architectures (1 year). - Soft Skills: Agile/Scrum stakeholder communication requirements gathering (5 years).
