ResponsibilitiesDescriptionPeraton is seeking a Senior Project Manager. This position plans executes and closes complex projects managing budgets and resources and leading cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities involve developing detailed project plans mitigating risks and communicating progress and status to stakeholders and executives. This role requires strong leadership organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive project plans including scope objectives timelines and budgets. Lead and motivate project teams to execute plans efficiently and effectively.Manage project financials allocate resources (personnel and equipment) and ensure the project stays within budget constraints.Identify potential risks and develop strategic plans to mitigate them ensuring project success and adherence to deadlines.Serve as the primary point of contact providing regular updates on project status risks and performance to stakeholders sponsors and executives.Lead mentor and manage project teams fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts to ensure high performance and team cohesion.Ensure project deliverables meet all quality standards and requirements. Act as a quality control check for project scope and changes.Create and distribute project documentation such as charters schedules and status reports. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).Qualifications10 years of experience may have supervisory or lead experienceMust be a US CitizenExperience in agile support environmentsAbility to obtain Public Trust ClearancePMP or PMI CertificationPrimary work locations in Tacoma WA Aurora CO San Antonio TX and Falls Church VA. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
